dealer installed tow mirrors on my 2021 xlt 302a part ml3z17696ca. They cannot get the side marker lights to work (the two amber strips). The dealership(s) are saying that the mirrors are plug and play and that there are no programming capabilities on their end. I've had it service twice and they tried to get the lights to work but could not.
Has anyone successfully done this with forscan? I haven't been able to find anyone yet who got these to work on the 2021's.
Its driving me insane that they would install these and not have the capability to enable all of the features.

I was brave enough to go through all the modes in the ABS module hoping there was a variation of Sport Mode that wouldn’t auto-engage 4A. I was unable to find what I was hoping for but as an FYI, Sport Mode = Generic Mode 2 and can be permanently disabled if you ever want to lock out your kids or employees from having fun with the truck.
Does the 2.7L engage 4A as well?

Just a quick note if anyone is having problems disabling the seatbelt warning chimes. I had mine disabled using the option provided in the manual but after I made a few adjustments in Forscan the warnings came back and even though they were still showing that they were disabled they were still chiming. I tried using the option in the manual but the indicator light would not go off to complete the steps. To make a long story short, after pulling my hair out trying to get it disabled , I was looking through the list in the IPC module and noticed that "Seatbelt warning market" was set to Europe. I changed it to USA and the chimes stopped.

My English is not good, please forgive me if I don't speak it right
xxxx XXxx xx
These two hex bits do not only contain the setting of blinking times, but only a part of binary bits are used to set the blinking times
so i guess Mr. Fordtrk‘s car
0C 3 flashes
10 4 flashes
14 5 flashes
1C 6 flashes
20 7 flashes

What changes did you make in ForScan?
Did you enable nav in motion in the APIM? That’s a common one that changes your default region.

Do all XLT’s have a TOD transfer case in this generation? If the old style ESOF transfer cases are out there in 2021 F150’s, we should be able to narrow down which lines of code are responsible for this.
I think ABS 760-02-01 xxxx xxxx x*xx is key.
Will test and report back.

Add Silent Mode Toggle to Sync 4 Vehicle Settings Menu
I realized during some testing that we can add a functional Silent Mode toggle to the Vehicle Settings menu. This allows anyone to toggle between Dark Mode & Christmas Tree Mode on the fly.
If you have a 12" Sync 4 setup, edit your BCM and APIM as noted below.

It doesn’t sound like an issue. It might just be a misunderstanding. I believe you disabled a conditional regional seatbelt chime warning. Then edited something else which broadcast a change to other modules canceling out the initial mod.
