I know there is still work to get OnBoard Scales & Smart Hitch working so I am not too concerned with that one.
Are the values saving in the module or resetting back to factory? If they are saving, You may just need to reset the APIM module before seeing changes.

They are saving in the APIM Module. Just to clarify so I understand you are saying to reset the APIM Module in Forscan and not a Reset through the Sync 4 screen.

Can someone please confirm that the OBDLink MX+ is compatible with 2021+ F150's? I would like to go the bluetooth route if possible but want to make sure before I order.

Thanks!

Yes, Reset the module in Forscan after making the changes.

Thanks, I got the adaptive headlights to show up but it now I get a Headlight Control Module Error and it says the Configuration is not Compatible. I tried different settings but the error would not go away. I am guessing the US trucks are stuck with Auto-High Beams.

Does this list seem complete, and do you guys think swapping to a 4A TOD transfer case will be as simple as making these ForScan changes after installing the transfer case, 4A drive mode switch, and 4A TCCM?
ive been looking into this too and have been comparing it to the process on last gen. ill have to take a look at those module locations.

I haven’t tried the adaptive lamps. Mine already move with steering input but the adaptive lamps are interesting. I think someone earlier he stated he had the same warning pop up at ignition on. My sync 4 is 21136 revision 134

I know this is the 14th gen Forscan thread but I also realize there are some sharp individuals that monitor this thread. So bear with me for asking the following question. Have any of you that own the 21 F-150 experience the error message (No trailer brake gain) when connecting your 7 pin connection to your electric brake trailers? I've also seen the error message come up (no right turn signal on trailer). With the no turn signal message it is clear when I check there is a functioning right turn signal on the trailer. I have tested the trailer in question with my brother-in-laws 18 super duty and the trailer brakes work fine so I would believe it eliminates the trailer being the issue. I have also made sure the 30amp fuse in slot 42 of the main fuse box is functional. I've also checked the 5amp fuse in slot 21 of the body control module fuse box. I have read numerous threads both here at the 14th gen F-150 forum and other forums as well talking about using conductive contact grease and other ideas to help with the issue. There is even a reference to this problem in a Motor Trend article. https://www.motortrend.com/news/2021...hybrid-review/ I have contacted the service department of the dealership I purchased my 21 F-150 from and they claim they have never heard there is a problem. Talked to another local Ford dealer service department and they drew a blank on knowing anything of it. I needed to be able to pull my rv on a short trip awhile back and fortunately I still had my Curt Echo brake controller left over from the 19 F-150 to fall back on. So I just decided to ask if anyone here has run into this issue.

Hi there, sny11,

I bought a 2021 F150 Lariat with absolutely no bells and whistles because it was the last one on the lot unfortunately. So it did not come with a TBC. I did about a week of searching to finally find the right part and get it ordered and to install it myself.

I posted on the official FORScan forums for help which is where I found this forum and received help here.

Recently I came back from a trip where I experienced this problem. I thought it might be just the pins on my connector so I bent them tighter together. Nope. I disconnected my trailer for the night while camping and the next morning driving home I did not experience any errors.

By the time I got home, the new version of FORScan was available and I was finally able to change a setting in the IPMA controller. I was receiving a false error where FORScan was complaining my truck was moving so I submitted a bug report.

Now I should hopefully have all of the necessary FORScan modifications for my TBC. But it is going to be a bit before I haul a trailer again. And it m may be even longer to see if that error flashes on my HUD because it felt very intermittent especially since it didn’t happen the 2nd day.

Even without the last mod for the IPMA, my TBC was functioning correctly.

Hope this helps a little bit.
