Just did this myself a few weeks ago. Ended up dremeling the appliqué I had, rather than paying the $100+ for one with the hole from the dealer. BTW, apparently the 2021 XL is the only matte black appliqué, and for whatever reason, no XL has the keypad hole precut in 2021, so you must use a 2020 model year panel if you want to purchase one, rather than cut. The dealer tried to order a few different ones for me for 2021, and they all ended up being the mirrored, shiny, piano black style.
matte door panel with hole (from gen 13): fl3z1520555TA
2021 keypad (gen 14): FL3Z14A626AF
Good luck.
Did you use any kind of pattern to dremmel or just the keypad itself for the pattern? Thanks!
did you cut your piece or buy new one? Part number or where you ordered? Thank you!!
@jeallen
The window trim for the F150s that have keypad cutout are always (?) the shiny piano black. I have a RC XL F150 with power windows, therefor it had the wiring for the factory keypad (FL3Z14A626AF), I had to cut my trim piece, or purchase four piano black trim pieces the upper trim RC XLT uses that have the keypad as an option.
I used FORScan to enable the keypad: changed the BCM 726-31-01: default "disabled" 726-31-01 xxxx xx00 xx--, to "hardware enable" 726-31-01 xxxx xx01 xx--
This is the template I used to cut my trim piece out that I found in another thread on this subject. I used a scrap piece of plastic to practice on before I actually cut the my trim piece.

Awesome info! Appreciate the link to your write up! Going to try this soon. Believe I found the matte black trim piece with keypad hole at Tasca and was ordering other stuff anyway. I’ll have it on standby when I cut my stock piece if I screw it up! If not, I’ll sell it to someone else doing this mod that dosent want to cut! Thanks again!
