Excellent, thank you.

Yes, that is odd... why the rear doors?

Alright, the install is all done, and beautiful pounding bass is flowing forth! I did a how-to thread for anyone interested HERE.

I tried this on the B&O system and it didn't work, the speaker wires from behind the radio are only tweeters, no lows or mids coming out from those wires, I has to use the signal from my B&O amp behind the seat and used an Audio Control LC2i

Just saw my window sticker for my special order 302a XLT on the Ford Order Tracker (awesome...truck is getting built!) and then I realized there was no line time for the B&O. I ordered it? Found my paper work from the dealership, when they revised my order to remove the moonroof at my request....somehow the B&O got removed and I didn’t realize it and signed off . Well, I’m not ordering another truck because of the missing B&O. I guess I’m getting a standard auto system and will need to upgrade.

I think you are better off with the standard sound system, I wish mine had the standard, the subwoofer on the B&O is not loud at all and the one I added with the amp doesn’t sound right because the B&O amp.
The head unit is sending the sound signal with a blue wire to the amp and the door speakers signal are coming out of the amp, the signal is already amplified so it doesn’t sound good when you add a subwoofer and a amp. The B&O system is only the amp, the door speakers are the same crappy speakers just like the standard system.

I test drove 2 trucks prior to writing up my order...one with standard audio and one with the B&O. B&O sounded crisper (mids/highs) but the base was lacking for sure. My 2013 has the Kicker Sound Stage...certainly not going to win any audio competitions but has more bass response than the B&O.

Like you stated, may take a bit more time but maybe I will be farther ahead without the B&O. I will have to follow the forum for recommended hardware...I.e. amp, sub box, replace, met speakers. I guess I have the price of the B&O that I can invest lol.

Greatly appreciated, this will help me with wiring in a LC7i, have a 5 channel but will probably just use it for sub and rear mids.

I’m particularly interested in finding out the stereo wiring for the 11” Sync 4 system. I’ve installed subs in all my vehicles and plan to do the same with my ‘21 XLT 302a, I just need to know the wiring colors.

But I’m interested in a seeing what people do with their systems, whether it’s adding the Kicker system or upgrading the speakers, etc.

Let’s see what y’all come up with!!
i did a full install of Rockford fosgate. 6.5 in doors. 4 channel amp. 10” p3 punch sub with mono amp. Total of about 1200 watts. Ran new speaker wires from amps to speakers. I disconnected the factory front dash speaker and a pillers.

Did we ever get confirmation what trim levels kept the stock sub woofer plug behind the rear seats? I haven't pulled the trim back on my 302a XLT yet but interested if anyone has noticed if they kept the plug for non B&O systems.
