Upgrading SYNC to SYNC 3
I'm not sure why you guys are all asking TexasFording to PM you.
Lurrr posted all the links for all the information you need already except for this one, where I encourage you guys to save some cash and recycle part of the old usb hub. DanMc85's writeup on the Ford fusion forum for converting Sync 2 to Sync 3 is the best one you'll find and applies to all Fords. Again, that link was already shared here by Texas Fording. There is no need to be secretive, any questions you guys have can be answered publicly so everyone else can learn from the answers. I've personally done three Sync 2 to Sync 3 conversions. There is a lot of DYI information online for this already.
The steps to converts Sync 2 to Sync 3 are easy.
1) Learn how to use ForScan or IDS (optional).
2) Take Sync 2 hardware out and the current USB Hub out
3) Put Sync 3 hardware in (the plugs are the same).
4) Wire 12V power for the new USB Hub as shown in my video here. Details and the part number are in the video I just posted.
5a) If adding a unit Sync 3 with Navigation add a cheap $10 farka GPS antenna from Amazon, you will need it.
5b) If adding Sync 3 without factory navigation ask ACool for one of his Nav enabled daughter board extensions (think of it like an old school playstation mod chip).
6) Program the new Sync 3 in ForScan or find someone who will do that for you and pay them with a case of beer..More details are in my first video on how to convert your 4" screen to Sync 3 or ask anyone on the ForScan thread in these F150 Forums.
7) Update Sync 3 software for free (optional).
As far as I'm aware you can retrofit Sync 3 into any 2011 or newer F150 whereas old 12 Gen Limited's had factory Sync 2.

Several things to address.
1) The mods have banned all sales of Sync 3 systems, for all people (an apim here or there is still ok), hence all PMs
2) Yes, I posted that information a year or so ago, it is now obsolete as with anything dealing with technology
3) Dont hack your APIMs, please. Its a bigger headache than needed and voids warranty

I'd say any where between $300 to $3000 USD
Too bad nobody made a video explaining exactly what to do... oh yeah; I did. The only information which has changed since I made this is the user ACool is now flipping PCBs out of Tennessee which can add navigation to non navigation Sync 3 systems.
