I have a 2018 XLT and recently upgraded from the 4” screen to the 8” screen and so far everything has been plug and play but for some reason my backup camera isn’t working.

 

my dad has a 2015 Lariat with my touch. What would we need to upgrade his setup for CarPlay?

 

Search Sync 3 here on the site there are a ton of posts on the conversion.

Sync 3 APIM and Screen you want the flat sided screen

These first 2 items can be found on ebay or car-part You can typically find them cheaper on car-part. The last few I've done have been getting parts from salvage yards and whole conversions have been around $350

GPS antenna (this is the one I've used for retrofits)
Power adapter from Sync 2 (Gen 2A) to Sync 3 Hub. These can be found on ebay for around $10.

I have a 2014 f-150 with gps, could I get pricing for the sync 3 too? I was thinking of taking one from a damaged truck and buying the extra harnesses I need and the AA/CP USB hub, would that work?

2017 SCREW - 4" screen 300A build with 7 Speaker radio no sub.
