Enjoy the misfire codes when the roller rockers fail on the HEMI. YouTube it..then you will think twice why I bought a HEMI. My 5.0 16 F150 Screw has 130K. The only problem I have had and hate is the rear end.

I know it's hard to believe, but some people have had real problems with their Ford truck. Every manufacturer makes something bad eventually, it doesn't mean the brand is bad. It also doesn't mean he's questioning your sanity. Let be.
Like the opinion that less power and lower mileage is better? lol

I could also say a Yugo is better than a GT3, I mean hell, it's my opinion, but just as low IQ dumb lol. Or the guy on Reddit other day that said he went for the 2.3 Stang b/c it's better drivers engine and better sounding than the Coyote lol. Pretty sure that dingbat is alone in that thinking.

Just like OP lamenting the death of the 5.4 (one of the ****tiest, and problematic engines ever made). Or OPs logic that he has to go Ram b/c the Coyote is too small Lmao.... The "too small" engine that slaps the Hemi in every way, whether towing, daily driving or full throttle, and gets better mileage, way better mileage towing. Or his logic of start/stop, did he ever know there's a button literally right in front of him on the dash to turn it off? Or forscan to perms-disable it.

Sorry, have to keep chucking at the moronic logic of 5.0 being too small lol, even though that smaller block bitch slaps the Hemi 5.7 all around.

OP was just a troll. Look at his other post, he drives a 3.3 '18....for someone that thinks the Coyote is too small

Current engines are superior to the 5.4 in every way, so, again...lol

They clearly didn't price you out of the market, you bought the truck...new. And could afford to lose money yet again trading it at a mere 2 years old.

This definitely isn't the place to list complaints when you don't actually have any complaints. Ford should be complaining about people who buy for such silly reasons. But I think you already knew that...which is why you started this thread.

Dollars to donuts, if his post isn't a lie, he's never driven the 5.0 or the 2.7 or the 3.5

And BTW OP if that's true, do NOT drive any of those three engines, you'll be trying to talk the ram dealer into taking that truck back

Also for the record I drove a 2019 Ram with the 5.7 for a week as a rental. The engine is objective inferior to all three Ford engines listed above. Nothing wrong with it, it's not bad, and we're spoiled for choices these days...but the 2.7 and 3.5 and 5.0 are all better

I also agree with your comments, I travel a good amount for work. The last rental I got a 2020 Ram Laramie (love National Car!), I was really impressed with the comfort of the truck inside and the 12" screen whole crap, but the transmission and engine were a different story. My 3.5EB Gen 2 10 Speed would blow the doors off of that Ram. When I drove the truck, it seems like something was missing when trying to accelerate hard. Maybe I am spoiled by the 10 speed (I also drive 2019 F-150 5.0 last year). Also, maybe I am too old fashion and I know it's just a switch but I hate the **** for a shifter. I love my center console with my gearshift level!
Good luck on your truck, something you just have to change things up.

Right! That gear **** is really not for me. I really don’t care what I drive but it has to make sense to me. I wanted to trade my F150 for a Ram 2500 power wagon. Well the power wagon prices are thru the roof. No dealer will give anything reasonable for a 16 5.0 Screw with 125k. I laugh at the 7k offers and walk away. A few Ram salesmen even told me I was better off with the F150 in the long run. Even said my truck was super clean and well cared for, and yes it is. New Chevy Trucks looks like they have been wrecked. Dodge looks good but has a lot of little things that would drive me nuts. Ford is about the best overall design out there. Less quirks that are easy to live with or Forscan away.

I am kind of the same way, I was a GM guy until I work as a Firefigher/Medic (I am not in that field anymore, burned out bad!) and started driving Ford Medic units. I loved the old 7.3 Powerstoke. It was fast for it's time. On the Chevy front, I think person who designed the front end of that truck must have worked on the Aztek design as well I have a buddy that's a long time Chevy guy and is going to keep is 18 truck until Chevy changes that front end!

This. They must have a wall at the end of the assembly line they all run into.

I have to giggle at the number of folks who seem to take it personally when someone buys another brand of truck. But I have to ask, if you have been driving a Ram for a year now why are you still reading a F150 forum? Just to stir the pot?

In 2016 I traded off my 13 F150 on a Ram Sport. It was good for what I use a truck for but it didn't stack up to the F150 in many ways so in 18 I came back to Ford. The point I'm trying to get at is, in 16 when I bought my Ram I personally didn't feel the need to troll the F150 forums. And now that I'm back in an F150 I don't feel any need to troll the Ram forums. The guys and gals on those forums don't want trolls there anymore than we want them here. Enjoy your truck and move on.

Thanks for joining the F150 forum after buying a Ram to let us all know how much you like it. Adios, troll.
