Traitor
Y'all are funny. You take it so personal when somebody jumps ship to Chevy, Dodge, or Toyota. Who really cares? If he wants to spend his money on a Ram truck, it's his money, it doesn't affect you in any way. Quit attacking folks because they think differently then you do. He's entitled to his opinion and allowed to spend his money on whatever he sits fit, even it he is misguided in most of our eyes. I know it's hard to believe, but some people have had real problems with their Ford truck. Every manufacturer makes something bad eventually, it doesn't mean the brand is bad. It also doesn't mean he's questioning your sanity. Let be.
Not going to take the time to search on Google, but I wonder if somewhere there is a Whirlpool refrigerator forum where they openly diss GE and Frigidaire owners. The love of a manufacturer is cute and all, but Ford, or RAM, or GM or any of them really could give a rip about you after the purchase. It's a machine, it will run and it will break. Some will run longer than others.
But if you're really curious, go find some forums on home theater, TV's, speakers, musical instruments, guns, lawn equipment, well pretty much anything expensive with an engine, hit the weightlifting forums and to find talks about what brand power rack or exercise bike they bought...it's all the same thing and the only reason you see it with trucks is because you spend time on a truck forum reading and posting in threads about it
Most people who get into a new (or newer) vehicle are pretty excited and they join a forum to say "......and so far I LOVE it".
You said the same thing just now about the RAM you purchased. I'm happy to hear that, seriously.
With that said, chances are that when you first picked up the 2018, you said "......and so far I love it".
I have a hard time believing that withing the first few weeks you said "......meh, it's just another ole vehicle".
The point is....you came to learn you weren't happy with the Ford. So what. While you may never dislike the RAM, remember it is possible that once you become used to it you may also find that it isn't 'perfect in every way'.
