It seems that if you downloaded the 18 maps from the site before it is spitting out the 18 map license file for the new 19 maps. This goes for 3.0 (for the F150 16-18) and 3.2+ (for the F150 19-20) sync 3 units. On the first day the new 19 maps were out I tried to get the 19 maps for one I had upgrade with 18 maps before and it wouldn't let me download anything. So they have made some progress on that front but obviously have to correct what license file you are getting. Doesn't seem like they do much trial and error testing before going live.

 

why should they? We do it for them.

I agree, the license file currently available is the exact same file name that was provided for the v1.18 map update when updating from v1.17.

Is the current map 1 18 or 1 19? I updated about a month ago but it shows 1 18 as the current map on my Sync info screen.

 

1-19 map updates were officially released June 29th.

 

So I just got off the phone with Ford CRC and they have opened a case for this LST_ERR05 issue. I told them the licence was wrong and he didn't argue lol. just waiting for them to respond with a solution now.

 

Lucky you. I’ve played phone tag. Now I’m back with my 3rd call to ford CRC. 😡

No, I’m getting the run around. CRC bounces me to the map update center. They send me back to CRC.

 

I too am caught in the CRC to Sync 3 Navigation support line shuffle. Absolutely no help. Each refers me to the other for support

 

Good luck with that. I’m guessing they don’t know there is an issue other than the complaints.
