Did it update to 2.3 over Wifi?

A few days ago, I had my router within 10 feet of my truck in my driveway. It did some kind of update according to the ford owner site, it says "The last confirmed install of an update to your vehicle was on January 14, 2018". , however, i am still on 2.2, and the last SYNC upgrade according to the website was in Feb 2017, when the truck was built, so not sure what was updated..

Yes it updated to 2.3. It took a few days for it to show up on the screen as installed. And it shows in my Ford account as updated. The only reason I knew it was updating was I checked it one time and it said it was downloading. This went on for a few days before it finally finished.

I had earlier(when I got the truck) manually installed 2.2.

Do you all unzip ALL of the zip files within the zipped folder before putting them on your USB drive? Once I unzip the main folder I still end up with several zipped files within that folder - and then when I unzip those files I end up with more zipped files within those folders... smh

Here's what I'm talking about. This is what I get when I unzip the zipped folder I download from the owner.ford.com site.

I know on the previous upload (i haven't uploaded to v2.3) you had to create a "SyncMyRide" folder and then put all the syncmyride files in that folder other than the autoinstall file and dontindx file. Also, the files in the syncmyride folder should start after "SyncMyRide/" so delete that part out of the name in each file. For example the first file will be "GB5T-14G386-AA.tar.gz" in the "SyncMyRide" folder.

No problem. I just wish I could install the update. It says my sync is up to date but I only have v2.2.

On console screen, click Settings, and then Sync Software or About Software or something like that. It's not hard to figure out. You can also register and check the owner.ford.com website.
