Dropped it oat the dealership today, I handed them the TSB 15-0193... I guess we'll see if they replace the cluster or mask the symptoms by doing a gauge sweep, at least it was still off when I dropped it off.

My 2015 2.7 would speedo would stick anytime I got over 80 mph, I would pull the cluster 7.5 amp fuse to reset. Took it to the dealer and they replaced the cluster. Has not happened since.

I've had my cluster since i started this thread and haven't had an issue since. Must be something mechanical in there getting stuck. They need to be replacing them.

The speedometer readouts are electronic. Nothing is mechanical. It sounds like a board issue.

There's a mechanism that turn the speedometer. The needle doesn't just move. Maybe a couple gears or something.

Yeah, it's a stepper motor, but the needle itself is getting hung up from something in the gauge cluster being out of tolerance, so it is a mechanical problem. Doing the engineering gauge sweep will re-calibrate it back to zero, but the mechanical fault still exists. The digital readout is always correct.

Anyway they ordered a new cluster, verified it was the TSB 15-0193 issue.

Here is another Canadian one. Truck started doing this after having it for two weeks... Dealer has ordered a gauge cluster as others have had done here. I cant stand to watch them take the dash apart.

it pretty much pops right out, I think there are 4 screws once you pop out the surrounding trim, the TSB only has 1/2 hour allocated to the process and that includes the diagnosis. Shouldn't be a big deal, just annoying that they didn't catch the quality control issue earlier.

Uggg...this happened to me today for the very first time. Have had the truck almost 2 weeks and 1000 miles. Corrected itself (mostly) at the next stop light.

I immediately called my service advisor, and he said they had to see the problem themselves before Ford will authorize a new cluster.

Can't really blame him. I had *just* picked up the truck earlier in the day for the evap TSB (had check engine light).

Despite this, I LOVE my truck. Its just an XL Scab (recently divorced, budget is TIGHT), but I do realize sometimes there are some "growing pains".

I just hope it does it again soon, so I can get it taken care of. I hate the thought of them ripping apart the dash, but if it is anything like my 06 Mustang cluster, it really does just pop out.

Question-do they really have to order the cluster with the milage? Can't they program it to match at the dealership?
