Add 1 more to the list. After stop-n-go traffic finally got moving and it was at about -50MPH, then throughout the rest of the day the speedo needle got stuck in other areas, the latest was +20MPH.

2015 XLT/302A/Sport/FX4 3.5L ecoboost.

While I was changing oil this week at Ford dealer I told the service rep that I have been having intermittent speedometer issue. They didint anything about TSB nor did I. They said since it's not having issue right now there's nothing they can do. They told me next time it happens call them and bring it in to check it out. I hate this type of intermittent issue...because next time it happens I could be nowhere near Ford dealer and by the time I bring it to dealer the speedo issue could have fixed itself again.

Use your cell phone to snap a picture of the cluster/speedometer when the issue occurs. All the proof they need to file a warranty claim.

If they need more proof than a picture and the TSB, find another dealer !!

PM me with your email address if you want a copy of the TSB

I will try that next time but when I had 2014 F150 with difference issue I took a video with my phone but Ford dealer said they have to see it themselves or see a code. They cant use picture or video to troubleshoot. That was the case with two different dealers so I stop trying to do that anymore. But I will try once more.

Well it took 2 tries with the dealer. Original cluster ordered by them was the wrong one. Once they got the right one it took about 3 hours and they replaced the cluster. Zero issues with the speedo since then.

We feared the issue would not occur when we brought it in. We had a pic of us doing 70mph while the speedo was -5mph. All we did was show them the pic. They ran tests to determine the issue. So they didn't actually need the pic. My issue was more relevant at higher speeds with the cruise on.

Since my original post I have no issues to report. The new cluster fixed the problem.

Although very strange the original post does have pics of my speedo, that is not my truck. I have an Oxford white fx4 lol
