A few times today while driving in some LA traffic (stop and Go) when I got free of it and was doing well over 65, my speedo was only showing 25, it reacted to speeding up and slowing down but not a big reaction. After I stopped it seemed to correct itself. I wish I would have thought to check the digital speed screen to try and match it.

I had to take my F150 on a trip to FL from MI put 2600 miles on the truck during that time frame and used cruise a lot. The speedo was all over the place and sometimes even at a negative reading while doing 70 +. It was rarely right one. Had to make an appointment with the dealer and of course it was right on when I brought it in. But they were able to run some tests and found the issue. Only way to fix this issue is to replace the instrument Cluster. I have on on order and should have it replaced next week.

Prior to my trip the speedo would get stuck at various speeds like it was the new 0. But with cruise on it was sometimes above sometime below. sporadic and all over the place. By me they replaced the cluster on a truck in my area only days prior to me dropping off my truck for the exact same issue. First one they had to replace. Ford has no memos or notes on this issue. Which is surprising to me since so many of us are having this issue.

Once the cluster is replaced I will report back. sucks I have to have this replaced on a brand new truck.

Couple of members had good look getting this fixed/reset by disconnecting the battery for 15 minutes. Cheap, easy to do, and you don't have to drag your *** to the dealer, try that first.

My 6000 mile 2015 F150 XLT FX4 just started doing this and took overnight before fixing itself. No doubt it will comeback. Cant believe I gotta bring it in for entire instrument cluster replacement already and have deal tear into dashboard. New cluster better not start rattling and squeaking. This is exactly around same miles when my previous 2014 F150 lemon started having so many intermittent "dealer can't never duplicate" issues. Sigh...

Mine consistently reads about 1 MPH high, but I don't think that's a huge deal. I can live with it.

And this "fix" lasts for how long?

Had the same thing happen to me on XLT I purchased labor day. Speedo would suddenly show +60 MPH, and would slowly heal back to zero error over a few days.

Happened first time as I drove the truck home!

Didn't happen again for ages, and I figured it had 'calibrated' and would be OK now. Not so lucky, happened 2 or 3 more times until I took it into dealer. No codes shown and no bulletins, dealer called ford who immediately ordered a new cluster, dealer said Ford new exactly what they were talking about.

No problems since new cluster 6 weeks ago.

Dealer wanted to keep the truck while the cluster arrived to prevent me putting miles on it, the new cluster gets ordered with the current vehicle mileage. I declined.

I had the same thing happen on my 2015 SCREW 4x4 a few weeks ago. Would consistently be at +60 or +40 so I took it to the dealer who said they never heard of this. So i set up a appointment for them to look at it on the following Monday. Tuesday they called saying that it needed a new cluster and he also told me that 2 other F150's came in on Tuesday morning with the same issue. Cluster replaced Tuesday night and I picked up on Wednesday morning. Also he told me that on Wednesday morning Ford issued a Technical Advisory Report. So if you have this issue take it in and get yourself a new cluster.
