I ran Eibach shocks on the front of my '15 XLT scab with Bilstein 5100 shocks on the back (at the time Bilstein had not released the front shocks yet for the 15 F150s). I installed them at the 1 3/4" setting without a rear block and I always thought that it was nose high. On my '16 XLT screw I went with Bilstein 5100s all the way around. I had the front installed with the 1 3/4" setting and a 1" rear block. I couldn't be happier with the Bilsteins and the 1" rear block.

My experience between the two is that I found the Eibachs had a more harsh ride and when taking a corner the nose of the truck lurched more than the Bilsteins.

My current '16 XLT (18 X 9 Method Roost with Wrangler Duratrac 275/65/18s):

Thanks for the info!

That's good to know.
I didn't realize the Bilsteins were in the same realm as some of the more inexpensive coilovers.

Really contemplating them now. For the price, seems like a good bet over just a spacer.

I’d say even with the shark fin antenna, truck is still a bit under 7’ ...my garage opening in 8’ tall.

Not eibach but have 6112s now, they are better than fox that were on my 14. Had Halo on my 16, those rode better than both.
This is all street driving, only off roading in Chicago is pot holes

I have the 5100’s all the way around, front at 1.75, I will say the truck rides & handles much better than the stock set up. Now just have to decide on tires.

I have to ask what is the rear block that is mentioned in these threads? Is it a spacer on the leaf spring bundle? Bilstein 5100 set is due in today I'm looking what would be the best front/rear settings for towing and DD use. I'm not looking to lift for the sake of appearance but leveling the truck would be nice.

Rode better in what way? I'd also be curious if you would have the same impression if you paired those 6112's with 5160's out back?

I would also like to know the differences between the 5100 and the 6112?
