I did mine over night in the garage @ home, No spring compressor needed !!
The strut comes out in 1 piece the spacer sits on top of the strut......
You never need to compress the spring.
When you put the spacer on the strut ... it becomes longer/taller
And wont fit back in ... (I think this is why they are compressing the spring)

As everyone said its going to need an alignment !
So to save time and $$ buying or renting a compressor ....
Just loosen the rear control arm bolt and remove the front one ...
This will allow the strut to fit up into the frame, then line the control arm up and put back together.
I popped the spindle off and set it aside to make more room.( don't want to damage the IWE)

I just leveled my 17 xlt sport last week. Took 3 hrs with hand tools and a jack and jack stands. I just put a 2.5in spacer on so it didn't require taking the top hat off. It's a pretty straightforward install.

Contemplating a level but have some questions... I wasn't sure it merits a new thread so will try here first...

2016 F150 Lariat Screw 4x4 shortbox with MaxTow pkg.
Currently running BFG AT KO2 275-60-20's on the Sport rims
Icon Rear shocks
Hellwig Rear Sway bar

Measurements are currently as follows (ground to rim of fender):
Front: ~37.5"
Rear: ~39.75"
Accounting for an approximate rake of 2.25"

Contemplating a 2" F150lifts level in front, and maybe changing the wheels and tires.

I want to retain a slight rake and don't want my headlights pointing towards the sky when I tow my boat. The truck does squat a little when the boat is hitched, but I can't currently measure by how much as the boat is stored for the winter. I think it squats by about 1.5".

Due to the Hellwig, if my memory serves I can add an additonal 1" of height to the back without requiring that I change out some of the Hellwig hardware. I think the OEM block is 1.5", correct?

Questions:
- If I were to go with a F150lifts 2" level up front, along with a F150lifts Raptor-Style 2 3/4" to 2 5/8" tapered block, Will I get the lift I want while retaining some rake?

- Will I encounter problems with the above rear block and my Hellwig bar?

- Will my current tires mounted on 20x9 +15offset wheels look to small with such a lift?

- Will I encounter rubbing issues if I go to a 20x9 wheel with a +15 Offset and 305-55-20 BFG A/T KO2?

- Will I encounter rubbing issues if I go to a 20x9 wheel with a +15 Offset and 285-60-20 Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac?

- Should I be considering another tire size with a 2" lift than those listed above?

Thank you,

I installed the Stage 1 Fox leveling kit today. Much better firmer ride than stock. Stock was too floaty. I have roughly 1" rake back to front since I hada 3" rake from the get go. Stock wheels and tires for now, but look decent.

Ordered through Stage 3 Motorsports.

I currently have a 2016 2WD sport and am looking to make the front level with the back. I'm hearing a lot of mixed numbers from 2.25-3 on the front level. Anyone know what I could get?

See my earlier post. If you just want it level it, I would just go with an Autospring 2" kit in the front.
If you want to level it and go with larger tires up to 295-70-18 on stock rims (or equivalent in 20" tires) I would go with a 2.5" front AS kit with an AS add-a-leaf in the rear; this will still leave you with about 1" of rake. Without the rear spring kit, the 2.5" front kit might make it a little "front high".

MotoFab 1.5" level. Rear sits .5" taller than front, measured from the ground to the center of the wheel arch.

Been going back and forth for a while, Fox 2.0's or HaloLifts set at 2.25"? Any thoughts from the masses?
