What is the proper way to go without issues? Which previous year kits fit the new model? I have 33 inch tires with 18's I want to put on it.

What setup are you guys running (leveling kits only please) ?

Thanks in advance and pointers will be appreciated.
2 inch Procomp leveling strut/shock combo...

Front and rear cost me $270 in parts. Did the labor myself. Had to pay to get the coil springs compressed onto the new strut assembly (not a DIY thing at all!!!). Went with 33 inch from 32 inch (275/65/18 to 275/70/18). Love the ride.

Finally got around to putting the spacers on the truck.
1.25" all the way around.
The backs stick out a little more than the front. (level)
I might change the back to 1" if it bothers me. Lol
Pics are right off the jack, so the front might settle.

I am going to level my truck, but I'm wondering if I should attempt to do it myself or just pay someone. I'm fairly knowledgeable, I can turn a wrench and follow instructions, but I'm just not sure if I want to be bothered with DIY. Who here did it themselves, how much of a PITA was it, and if you had to do it again, would you?

It's not that bad at all!!! Just make sure you have spring compressors and you are golden! I would have no problem doing it again! If you have half a brain and some tools... you're good!

You can go to Autozone or Oreillys and pick a set up off of the shelf for $40-50!
I think mine were like 40... they worked just fine! You can definitely find more expensive ones... but why?... There's not much to them really!

You don't need a spring compressor.
Look on Youtube, and search F150 2015 leveling kit, it will give you an idea.

May people remove the suspension arm to frame bolts to avoid removing the IWE, but the correct method as per Ford, is to remove the IWE and axle from the knuckle, to relieve tension on the CV joint and free the knuckle to tilt toward you and down with the suspension arm.

Most of the Youtube video don't follow the Ford's method and as you will see, create a big angle and tension on the joints, and that can break the plastic IWE during the process.

So, unbolting the IWE from the knuckle is the correct way of doing it.
