Default I remember when……

……a truck of any kind, much less one with the 2.7’s power, would get 8-10 mpg on a good day. 21.0 mpg over 77,000+ miles makes me smile.

Pretty incredible, isn't it?

If you'd have told me 15 years ago that I'd be driving a full-size truck with a whopping 2.7 liter V6, and be THRILLED with it, I'd have laughed at you.

That's your gas mileage over the last 7653 miles not 77,000 but still pretty sweet. My '02 5.4 averaged around 12 mpg.

According to the lieometer, my 3.5 eco truck gets 13mpg in local driving. However, it`s such a nice ride I would not care if it only got 5mpg

It turns over every 10K. Look at the hours.

Have been out for the past four weeks helping my wife decide on a new vehicle. One contender was the RAV4, which has grown in size a lot, and is now built to look strong like the F150 with a tall hood line and a shape that is a straight up a rip-off of the 13th gen.

73" wide, 69" tall, it is rated 35mpg. Amazing mileage for a N/A engine Vs just ten years ago.

At 2" narrower, 1" taller, the HR-V she chose gets one less mpg. With 30% less displacement and 15% less weight than the RAV4, WTF Honda? Thought you guys were at the top of the game

Continuing the off-thread discussion, does anyone else think the 2022 Escape looks like a Fusion and a Cayenne had a bastard child?

How about 22.3 over the life of my 2.7 Lariat 40,000
miles.

Whatever Fuelly says in my signature. Probably right around 20 or so MPG over 40k miles.

It's impossible to get any consistent mpg here in this part of Illinois. One day everyone wants to go WOT from every green light, to people not even knowing what that pedal on the right is for the next day.

Around 14-18 is my "average" for mixed driving. Best I got so far was 19 for a week of driving.
