Does anyone have the center console pocket (where the shifter goes) laying around? Now that you have a shifter in that location. Would anyone have one for sale or possibly have the part number from it? Thanks!

Guess I must be in the minority. I would prefer column shift so that I gain the additional space where the console shifter resides.

Me too - that's where I set my phone.

I'm about to do a console to column conversion, as soon as my new 502A Lariat arrives... steering column is already here.

Firerunner actually posted that... he's the sick one that's convinced me to try this insane plan. Let's take a brand new, $63K sticker, 502A Lariat Sport SE, and the first thing we do is rip the steering column out...

I would *strongly* recommend you purchase your own service/wiring guide. I bought mine from this site, which has been recommended by several:
https://www.factory-manuals.com/

It's 17,840 pages and 815,043KB of absolutely everything you want to know about your truck. I'm going to be swapping to a Raptor wheel while I'm doing this (the red centering stripe will match the SE interior nicely) and, if I'm going to drop the coin, why-T-F would I not want functional paddle shifters too? Getting all of this wired up is going to be a challenge, and I want to make it as OEM as possible...having all the wiring diagrams, pinouts, part numbers, etc. will make that task much easier.

Oh, and I'll be tearing the entire interior out while I'm at it... full soundproofing treatment, etc. That'll be fun

See now that is something I would want to try. Upgrading to the Raptor steering wheel with functional paddles. I have so much on my plate right now. Besides the column to floorshifter swap and 4"to 8 " upgrade, I am also planning some performance upgrades that I can't really discuss until it is finished. Maybe once I am all done I will add the steering wheel but pretty sure I won't have functioning paddles. Thanks for the Manual recommend I plan to get one and Thanks to Firerunner for posting the Diagram. Trying not to catch the sickness

The paddles are pretty easy and well-documented.

I'll be adding a 30" Havis communications console, 8 radios, a Windows tablet, radio patching/interop gateway, and a full emergency lighting/siren package. Believe me, the truck mods are a small part of the overall effort

Just finished connecting up mine on Friday and took it out on a farm road for a test drive. Took about 1 and half...working very slowly and not rushing. Still have a column shift but have about 90% of the parts for a console, but still have a few other mods ahead of it.
