In my first post I listed that I used retainer nut part# W717086S439 to mount the shifter in my console. I picked up the console that covertness had & was able to compare the retainer nuts for the first time... here are pictures of both so that anyone who does this in the future maybe able to find the correct part# if they so desire






This is what the smaller nut looks like when mounted in the console...it works, just not as tight as the correct nut

ok, well maybe you can help me with a question. i am planning to do the column shifter to floor shifter conversion, do you know if it is possible to use a Lariat center console and shifter if I have a XLT 2016 2WD, with jump seat?

Yes, all of the consoles and shifters are the same...the omly difference would be that some are PRNDM1and others are PRNDM21 (select shift)

*actual selector numbers may be different, Im not looking at a display right now..lol

Well I just pulled the trigger on the, Console with red stitching , My truck is white , grey and black inside , hope it looks good. Guest the raptor hood will have to wait.
was deciding which project to start , the shifter won!!. I have been wanting to do this conversion since i 2 vehicles ago, I had a 2013 XL previously. so so I need to change the dash vents?

My current shift is PRND321 , the Lariat shifter is PRNDM21. will this matter?
