The front doors won't auto unlock when the door is ajar.

My rear-view console display activates when I place the transmission into reverse. It recently started staying in rear-view console display after selecting Drive. The rear-view display does not stop until the truck is placed into park. Is this a failure or have I inadvertently activated this feature? If I have somehow activated this - how do I reset it?

If you mean the rear view camera then it is working the way it is supposed to. The Camera Delay option can be turned off in the options menu, though I believe it to be useful in parking lots.

Yep, the delay. Very cool feature. When selected, it will remain ON until you reach 6mph. I like it when pulling into my garage. I can watch the red line to ensure I'm in far enough to clear the door.

No it is a feature. Go into settings. Then I believe camera. Turn off delay.

Will then turn off when you leave reverse.

1st. thanks to all that posted.

My tip is to drill two 1/16 in holes below the license tag in the plastic in the flat spot at each corner close to the tag. Water from washing or rain drains out, so no puddle setting there. I was careful to just go thu the plastic and no further...

Instead of the two bucket method I picked up a tip to use one bucket with 6 wash towels and just get another one that is soaking instead of rinsing and reusing the same one.

Your wash water will be as clean as when you put it in and no way you will have any grit on the mitt or towel.

2016 502A Larry scab 10/22 club. Only 7000 so far miles but I like it and every thing on it works for me.

I did the same thing, my driveway is sloped and I park backwards so I constantly had water there.

EDIT: I missed the part you are leaving the truck running... I did not try that. Well easy to try leave the window open and truck running and lock the truck with the keypad wait a few and then come back and stick you hand in the window and see if the alarm is set. If so we should be good doing this...

BUT...

I started a thread long long ago and did alot of testing with the help of others on this forum on this question.

If I remember correctly I left the window open to simulate me breaking glass. Left a keyless fob in the truck with batteries. Got out and locked truck. I di remember you have to wait so long before the truck is armed.

I then proceeded to reach my hand and arm into the truck those motion detectors are very quick I did not get maybe a few inches in and the horn flashing lights and all that goes off. I try getting in the truck and hit the start button no dice.

I had to go get another keyfob from in the house and then deactivate the alarm and then start the truck.

What I do to key for a spare is I have a keyless keyfob locked up and hidden in the truck. NO BATTERIES in it. Truck does not know it's there. But if needed you can use you keypad on the door get in and then place the key again with no batteries in that spot you all know about and start the truck.

I have three keyless keyfobs got the extra on ebay for $40 and programmed myself.
