Default Memory seats while moving

I didn't figure this out, but I thought it was cool.
Thank Chris6272

Regarding the memory seats,

You can recall the memory while driving, just not in Drive. Just make sure Cruise Control is off and put the shifter in Neutral then press your memory button.

You can also SAVE the current position at ANY time (at least on my Plat) by pushing and holding the button until you hear the beep.... especially useful if you find your mirrors or seats not to your liking or needs while cruising on the FW.....careful doing so but if you want to "fine tune" and save, you can!

Default reverse warning

The reverse warning system will not work in neutral. This sounds both obvious and logical, but here's WHAT:

Sometimes when I back up, I like to drop her into neutral. This removes that constant "push" from the automatic transmission which allows me to
1. Control my speed 2. Saves brake pads.
The reverse camera still works, but NOT the warning system.

.............
Ever wonder why automatics wear out brake pads almost 2:1 over standard shift cars?
It's what I call, the "push". The tranny is constantly pushing in whatever gear you are in. Ever notice how your car will move when you're in gear and you remove your foot from the brake?

As stated above, I also drop her into neutral occasionally when stopping in forward gears. I've done this for YEARS with all my automatic cars. Once you are braking and have your speed reduced to 25 or 30, maintain your foot on the brake and shift into neutral. You'll be surprised how much faster you stop. Definite brake saver. As soon as you stop, shift back into gear. Of course it's not for EVERY situation . . . there's a time and a place . . .

This sounds really dumb, but I am a self admitted perfectionist. I noticed last night while driving that the LED light inside of my center console does not turn off and if I look through the crack of the center console I can still see that the light is on. First of all, has anyone else noticed this? Second, I looked and didn't see a switch for it to turn its self off. Any ideas???

Always on, Ford saved $.03 per vehicle by not using a switch.

Nice, I keep mine under the steering wheel, picture below.

Ive Looked through this post but my biggest PP is when I put the truck in park, the doors dont unlock. I end up hopping out to get something out the back seat or the bed and have to walk back and unlock the freaking doors. Can this be fixed? Coming from a Chevy I guess I'm spoiled because when the truck is put in drive they lock and when you put it in park they unlock. But this is the only complaint about the truck!!
Very cool....Who makes your steering wheel holster?

2015 or 2016?

I close the lid on my 2016 and the light goes off.

Assuming we are talking about the lid over the two usb ports up front.

I know it goes off because 1) It goes off before completely closed and 2) I put my cell phone on video and put it in there, closed the lid and then opened it back up and could confirm that it went dark
