Well it seems like either plan B of learning patience for us. Of that fails, back to plan A of throwing it out the window? Lol

I had issues with Sync with the 4" screen I had in my 2013, the phone would connect via bluetooth automatically but the audio defaulted to 'line in' every time the truck was turned back on... Drove me bat****.
That's an easy fix. Just turn off the option. Done.

What drove me crazy was the voice on my talking traffic (on my phone) is disabled when the blue tooth connects. That means no WAZE.
My wife figured that one out.

I had a similar issue. Music would pause during navigation, but none of the prompts were audible if I played music from certain apps on my phone. I got around that by selecting the option in google maps to not send directions to bluetooth. So I keep the stereo volume down and speak volume on the phone up. That lets me hear fairly well.

I should probably try again with this new phone to see if it acts differently, but I'm working on adding nav to the truck so maybe it's a moot point.

I have a 2015 F150 XLT with a 4.2 inch productivity screen ( viewed through the steering wheel ). I have lost the gear indicator. I used to see what gear the truck was in. Now I don't. I have not figured out how to get it back. Anybody know what to do? I am not interested in resetting the truck by dicoing the battery.

If you have a center console floor shifter, press the + sign. May work the same way on the column shift, not sure

I see a "-" and "+" right there. Are they for shifting, like the GMC has them, or for something else like wipers?

Manually shifting, everything on the gear selector controls the transmission.
