I found it is the manual and I "checked" the entry / exit block, but still nothing happens when i turn off the vehicle, open the door and exit the vehicle. Seat doesn't move at all. What am I missing here?

Do you already have the seat and wheel moved as far as they go?

No. I moved the seat to the highest point and forward as far as it will go. Nothing.

What model truck do you have. Also do you have it selected to the on position?? I think that is how it is, it's been awhile.

You have the memory seat positioning (I think you have to have one of the numbers programed) and the power adjusting steering wheel right?

Bob

I have a Lariat. I do have the drivers seat programmed into memory 1 and it does recall the correct memory as it should. The seat also goes to the correct "memorized" location if a move the seat then unlock the door using the remote. I do not have the power steering wheel.

I cannot find a way to "turn it on," only a way to place a check mark in the easy entry / exit location in the settings menu.

Default Try this fix if it still doesn't work

If your vehicle does not have a message
center, the feature can be turned off or on through the following process:
1. Put the key into the ignition (The driver seat may move forward if the
easy entry/exit feature is activated).
2. Place the ignition key into the on position (do not start the vehicle).
When the vehicle is in the on position, the interior and exterior lights,
the climate controls, and the radio are functional without the engine
started. See Programming remote transmitters for ignition switch
diagram.
3. Turn the ignition key to the off position
4. Cycle the ignition key between the off position and the on position a
total of three times ending with the ignition in the off position.
5. Engage the forward or rearward seat switch.
6. Remove the ignition key from the ignition switch. (The driver seat
may move rearward if the easy entry/exit feature is activated).
Steps 2 through 6 must be performed within a 20 second period. The
easy entry/exit feature will be deactivated. Repeating the above process
will also reactivate the easy entry/exit feature.

I don't Take credit for this, i pick it up elsewhere

I have the 501A package. I should have this option because I have the option of turning it on or off in the settings menu.

If this is like my X5, it works because I have the complete memory package including the retractable steering wheel. I don't know if this is how Ford works it.

Hey, I had the reverse problem. Seats would move back and steering wheel would move up each time I turned it off, but it would never come back with the memory setting ( made for a lot of manual seat adjustments). Dealership replaced a " module" in my truck and it fixed all. Thought you should know you may not be crazy and maybe have them look at it!
