Hints, Tips and Tricks
I have the sub and was able to stick a lot of stuff back there.. but I lifted the seat and pulled the attached strap to open mine..
Supercrews don't have a strap on the drivers' side. only on the passenger side.
Also, you do NOT have to raise the lower seat all the way up, only about 6-8" or so - just enough to get the back of the seat to lean forward enough to get your hand in there. It's just easier for me to put it all the way up until it latches, that way it's not falling back down while you're trying to work the latch.
A lot of folks have attached key rings, etc to the latch and left a string/strap/lanyard on it for future use. I use the storage infrequently enough, and have gotten pretty adept at finding the latch by feel that I don't need that.

Also have the sub and managed to fit a tow strap back there but that's about it for me. Once again thanx for the help
I discovered today that if you have an Amp Research-Style Bed extender, with the straps that buckle into the tailgate latch mechanism on each side.... locking your vehicle with the fob (locks tailgate), means no one can get the bed extender un-hooked from your tailgate to swipe it. Tailgate lock stays locked even when it's down!
Still waiting on mine to show up from Dearborn. I've got question. During my test drive, I noticed a hole on the inside of the tailgate towards the top right behind the latch/camera area. Does anybody know what it is there for? I haven't seen it mentioned in this thread and forgot to ask at the dealership. Thanks
Maybe missed it like missed how to put driver's side back seat down but if you leave the key fob in the truck (its "secret" holder or just in the console) and lock the door with door pad 7/8 9/0 will it affect battery life of truck or key fob?
Have had conflicting information on this! Do they continually "talk" to each other or does it all shut down after a delay until door is opened with code entered on key pad?
Can wrap it in aluminum foil if necessary but hope that it is not.
Read all and thanks to all.

Does anybody know if the front camera has a washer on it? Thought it was supposed to clean with the windshield but doesn't seem to clear for me.
Anybody know how to disable the two horn honk when leaving the vehicle running but keeping the key with you?
I noticed on my remote fob that if the truck autostarts then the led will blink green but if it is out of range or doesn't start it flashes red. Been handy so far. Also the remote starter has much more range than my 2013 did. Not aftermarket worthy but decent.

Watch it happen live when you look At the screen. And hit the windshield fluid button
