Sadly, if I understand correctly, all the auto fold/etc only works with memory mirrors, which means its still unattainable to anything below a 500A, correct?

Still, kudos the usual suspects.
Haha thanks... . Link is in my signature.

I don't know the F-150 Trim levels too well to answer this question about 500A and such.

You'd also need the different seats capable of the memory positions or you may throw DTCs I would think. Not sure also about whether the harness/connector is in your door panel for the memory 1-3 switch.

I've don't currently but working on doing the 8pin to 21pin harness change to accommodate the tow mirror upgrade.

Default Thanks! & New modification idea..,

I want to thank Livinitup and DanMc85 for all of their hard work! I can't wait to get home and try auto fold and global window on my truck!

I have something that you guys might want to try.. One of the selling points when I purchased my truck was the multi contour seats because I have back problems, but I noticed that on the Lincolns they have control of the bottom seat cushions on the manual adjustments, and we only have control of the top three lumbar. I wonder if there is a software modification that would put the extra two controls on our screen so we can control the bottom of the seat cushions. They are controled when the seats are in the massage mode..but I would like to control them manually like on the Lincoln's when in Adjustment mode I'll attach a sync 3 screenshot.

After looking at it closer, maybe these are adjustments to side airbags we don't have??

Thanks again!

I'd have to check my notes but I believe I was able to pull up that image in Sync (and I have the massaging seats) but if memory serves me the extra on-screen buttons did nothing and I think I looked into it and concluded the Lincoln (and I think the Expedition) have different seats with more motors. Anyways, I'll look into it again and report back.

The autofold worked right away but the reverse dip did not. The mirrors didn't move at all in reverse. I went out after dan posted that procedure, put it in reverse, positioned the mirror where i wanted it, pressed and held memory 1 for a couple seconds (no acknowledgement beep) put it in park and then it worked.

Non tow mirrors

So memory 1 now will go to your normal setting unless you are in reverse and push the mirror button where it goes to the dipped position, and returns to normal when taken out of reverse? I'll give it a try..

Yes, thats how it worked for me. Normal memory spot all the time, then in reverse it goes to the pre determined dip location when you hit the button. I also got no confirmation on the screen but it did set. Put in reverse, hit the mirror button side you want and let it stop moving or when it gets to the point it starts clicking hit the joystick to place it where you want. Then I held down the memory 1 button for probably 5 or 6 seconds. No confirmation as I said but it did save it. Do each mirror individually the same way.

I spent about 90 minutes this morning scavenging the bluetooth module from my wife's laptop so I can get BT working on my laptop. As far as I can tell... it's now working!

I wanted to get the auto-fold mirrors working, but neither my GoPoint or my OpenPort 2.0 J2534 interface will bring up the modules I need to get it done. So I was thinking...

Would anyone be willing to send out their BT interface via USPS for me to use? I'll pay shipping and throw in a couple of scheckles for you. I know that I can hack a module for all of $20-ish... but I'm trying to avoid clutter. It seems like a waste to buy something, of which I'm sure there are hundreds just sitting on shelves around the country going unused.

Perhaps we could start a FORScan interface pool... no: I'm not volunteering to manage such a beast.
