I don't believe the "FC" is needed there but just the "F" so if it works I'll update the common tab on spreadsheet since our trucks normally have a "0" where the "C" is. Reason for this is when I submit things to the FORScan developers, they're looking for single bit changes for the future Plain English area settings and will ask me to narrow it down to a single bit change.

I changed the C to a 0 and it still works,, So FXXX is OK! Wait I only tested folding let me check the tilt.

Update!! tilt not working right let me play with it! Back to clicking and so far can't set it like last time.

Should I try changing 740/1-13-01 also?

Yes, please try 740/1-13-01 F000

I thought 12-01 was just autofold and 13-01 just reverse tilt so I'm surprised when you changed 12-01 to F000 that it affected the tilt.

Even changing back to FC the mirrors are still clicking and not going to where I set them for tilt..

Had to take a break to cut down a tree,,, now dinner and then back to playing with it..

Update,,, old people need to reread the instructions everytime they do something,,, like putting it in park and then pushing the memory button!!

Back to the FC and everything seems to be working fine again... What a great couple of days on this thread!!

Note,,,, ignition must be off for mirrors to fold..

Can someone tell me the purpose of folding mirrors?

I can't think of any reason to have mirrors that only fold when the vehicle is turned off.

I would much rather have a button that folds/unfolds.

There is a button that folds/unfolds but it's nice to have it do automatically especially when you park in a busy lot, get out and realize you forgot to fold them and don't want anyone knocking them while you're inside a store.

Ok, I was thinking folding them before pulling into a parking spot would be more useful. But if there's already a button for that then cool.

Btw, I don't park in a lot of cities. Is it common to lose a mirror?

I hear it's very common if you share a garage with your wife

The C supposedly has something to do with the remote keyfobs and saving presets. So if that doesn't matter to you then drop the C. FORScan can handle the two hex bits. They can do 1 byte block at a time.

For me,,,, it's how easy it is to just look out the kitchen window to check that the truck is locked!!
