Broke Down
Feels like the same issue . Truck lost power and shakes violently again. Luckily this time I didn't have to wait 2 hours for a tow. Since it was fixed I put 7000 miles on it. Even took it up to Iowa from Atlanta. I'm not sure what to do at this time. I guess I'll find out Monday. Problem is I love that dang truck.

the description of the break down sounded exactly like an experience i had with 1999 B1500 dodge van- everything was fine, then a loud mechanical fart a big puff of black smoke, and dead on the side of the road. in my case it was a defective ECM module. it was also the last straw on dodge/chisler products for me- if it ain't a FoMoCo, then it ain't no go for the "natural"

Has anyone else had Ford install a crate engine in their truck with success? I would say Lemon Law but they only apply to a new vehicle within the first two years in GA. I bought this truck used from a Ford dealer and it's already 3 years old. I am out of the bumper to bumper warranty and only have the powertrain warranty, which should cover this. I've only had this truck 3 months. Before I bought it, the Oasis report was clean .
