Well the button on the dash operates like the button on the tailgate. Momentary switch just wire it in with the wire to the tailgate switch that goes to the BCM. Momentarily takes the FET to ground in the BCM to activate the release latch and the tailgate.

Right. I was just wondering if it was prewired to the switch.

There is no switch for the tail gate in any F150. Someone noticed a switch for a tail gate in the F250 next to the adjustable pedals switch, where some 2018 trucks now have an electric parking brake and adjustable pedals. (below the round headlight switch to the left of the steering wheel)

This thread speculates that maybe you can buy the F250 switch and dash panel and wire it into the Body Control Module (that is also used in Ford Cars and functionally pops the trunks in those cars) and have a button inside the truck that pops the tail gate down.

The upfitter solution is someones attempt in the Raptors (Some raptors come with upfitters) F 150s don't come with Upfitters either. That's a whole different thread on "How to install F250 Upfitter switches into an F150"

Hope that was clear... Clear as mud?

A little too clear..! I'm aware there's no tailgate switch in the f150's and I do know I'm not driving a Raptor.
I wanted clarity in regards to replacing my electronic brake switch with the f250's tailgate and brake switch combo... The wiring mostly.

Thanks for the parts list antho. I'll go back and see how it's wired.

Or, I can continue to use my fob. That was all

I have a 2017 Lariat and I'm buying the Raptor kit. In place of the upfitter switch I'm going to test with a momentary "on" switch. If it works I'll investigate the tailgate switch (identified in an early post) and bottom panel (however I cannot find the grey color panel to match my Lariat).
I'll post my results.
