with or without CD slot?

 

I have an 18 xlt with cd slot. I never use the CD player though. Anyone know if a non cd slot Lariat or Platinum panel will fit and work fine?

 

i am interested in this too i don't need the CD slot i figured out it will not read anything but CD format so MP3s etc are out pretty much useless to me id remove it if i can get the CC panel installed

 

I dont see why it would not, the back side does not extend out any more than the CD slot one. I will test this out this weekend. I have both and I have a CD unit I NEVER use as well.

unfortunately no, work sent me out of town. In Colorado through the end of this week. Will have time Sunday to test. Still messing with a few mods so my fcim and upper dash tray not even bolted down, easy swap once I'm back.

I need one too. I just ordered a bezel and now my heated seats done work. Didn’t know they wouldn’t prior to my order lol
