Default 2019 Adding Adaptive Cruise

I have a 2019 King Ranch 601A, Tech package, Pre-Collision with AEB (automatic emergency braking), Lane Keep, Bliss, max tow, fx4, park assist, blah blah, everything but chrome package and ACC.

I am looking to add ACC with everyone’s help on here. As well as trial and error. I have already bit the bullet and bought 90% of the parts. I was holding off on the IPMA and the ABS module.

When i I go to enter my Vin# or year make model I get a search back of nothing on any ford parts site. It gives me options for SVT, Raptor, or interceptor. Definitely someone’s typo errors on the general vehicle search. I am heading to the dealer tomorrow to pick up my parts. So i entered another vehicle 2019 King Ranch’s vin# and pulled up a different CADS sensor for the front. I ran the part number on the normal channels and it comes up to a Ford Edge something or other. But supposedly that’s the ACC sensor in the bumper of another exact build King Ranch just with ACC. The parts guy and I spent a few hours going over the parts you all have listed. My IPMA matches, part number of other truck, I have to check on ABS module. I imagine with pre collision AEB it’s gotta be same. But I will let you know tomorrow.

So I went to dealership today to pick up parts. My CADS III (CCM) part number is correct. It’s the same part in the ‘19 Limited and the ‘19 King Ranch with ACC.

IPMA- KL3Z-19G490-A

ABS Module- KL3Z-2C219-D

CADS Sensor- JX7Z-9E731-E

I will post more, of a final parts list when I install then calibrate and go to dealer for ABS module IDS calibration.

Curious to this as well. My 2019 King Ranch has every option save for the ACC. I've had adaptive cruise on my last4 vehicles and kind of miss it. Thanks for tackling this and sharing. Good luck!

Still working on it guys. Getting stuck running the PMI with IDS on the ABS module. The new layout does not let me grab the data off module it only lets me get it from as built unless I enter it manually. Gonna play around with some different combos and calibrations. Stay tuned

I have a 2019 with Pre-Collision with AEB but not ACC. Don't I already have the radar unit and camera or is there a separate sensor needed?

Following this!

you should have the IPMA (camera) but you will not have the radar unit.

It has not been completed yet. I keep getting hung up on the abs module. Somewhere in coding or programming. If you don’t have lane keep, you need to check your IPMA part number. My truck came with the proper camera. I was waiting to get a total parts list until I completed this in case I needed to change something like the abs.
