Default 2018: Adding Adaptive Cruise Control

This thread is for discussion about adding Adaptive Cruise Control to 2018 models that aren't equipped with it from the factory.

To start....has anyone attempted this?

Sub'd interested in total cost too. I have the xlt with 302a so don't have the large 8" guage cluster.

red,
Thanks for the link but going to thread that has over 1500 pages and 15000 posts is not a huge help.

I'm sure there's a tread more specific to the question.

I'm at work right now, but I'll do a little poking around with the search later.

Mike

Sorry I linked the wrong thread. I'll edit my original post. Here is the adaptive cruise control thread. Only 132 pages

I don't believe anyone has successfully added ACC to a 2018 yet.

I'm looking forward to adding ACC to my 502a with tech package.

Post #1292 in the other thread helps clarify the issue....

I have a IPMA from a Platinum that has the ACC. I'm waiting to order the CCM as Forscan doesn't have the compatibility to calibrate the 2018s IPMA/CCM yet. Once thats a green light I will install the new IPMA and CCM.

2018 CCM
H1BZ-9E731-AE

2018 CCM bracket
JL3Z-14C022-A

IPMA with Cads
JL3T-19H406-CE

( Image processing module A) It's the camera in the rearview mirror used for auto headlight, lane keep assist and adaptive cruise.
