2018: Adding Adaptive Cruise Control
Your dash display shows the ACC Icon (the white lines). Its just not active. What happens when you press the on button on cruise control? I would go into Forscan BMS settings and look for Cruise setting. Set it at ACC, try it; and then ACC/Stop&GO. See if it works.
Yeah when you first turn the truck on it has a yellow box that says Adaptive Cruise off nad Normal Cruise active so even if you enable ACC in the IPC it doesn't allow it.
Everything needed is installed and active except the ABS module. I purchased a new, unprogrammed ABS module and attempted to perform the PMI as outlined by others using FJDS. However, it failed when attempting to download the firmware from the Ford site (apparently), and it finally defaulted to writing the As-Built data. So I just replaced the new ABS module for the original, where LKA and Pre-Collision are working, but no ACC, and that's where things stand today. Did you have the same experience when trying to program the PMI ABS module, and the ACC still worked?
Did it tell you the file(s) it was trying to download? If so, you can manually download them and put them in a cache folder that the software should pick up. That's how it works in IDS. Not sure about FJDS, but think it should be similar.
Only 20 years ago, it was common for owners on this site to do major power train modifications with the hope of netting better performance over the anemic power provided by the factory. Now it's rare to see anyone on the forum with the ambition or stones to do more than sparkplugs!
While not mechanical in nature, the stuff you guys are pulling off on the software side is impressive. Hats off to you! I'm too chicken to go beyond forscan!

Got a 2018 Lariat 501A Powerstroke. Has anyone with a 501A successfully added ACC after getting a new windshield? Read through the thread and saw others with 501A asking, but don't recall seeing confirmation of anyone actually doing it. Thanks in advance.
If getting the new windshield, will a new harness be required to plug in the new equipment the 501A lacks?
