I ordered my 2016 XLT rcsb on Dec.7th. about 10 days later salesman gives me a copy of the VIN. A few days later I'm able to view my window sticker.
In addition the salesman told me that the truck will be built in Kansas City on Jan seventh, with an estimated delivery date during the week of Jan 25th.

So I've been trying to get further info from cotus, but it's telling me that a matching vehicle could not be found.
I'm wondering. Is cotus working?
Thank you to anyone who has any info on this matter.
I would contact Ford Service on this forum or call their 1-800 number. COTUS is a BETA program and pretty worthless. I tried tracking my 2016 Mustang with it and it never worked for anyone.

It was explained to me by FordService recently that Cotus will be phased out. That is why it probably does not work for most.

Did they mention what will replace it?

No, this is what they said:

"It's the good link, I just asked around and it seems that Cotus will be used less and less, and eventually discontinued. It still works for some models,I know it works fine for Mustangs."

PM FordService or FordServiceca (depending where your from) to track it. They have been great. Very helpful in answering any questions I have.

Also I am reading that right where it says 5.0 rc's are 1qtr for build dates, right? Cause that makes me way more optimistic.

Wow, that was fast! I ordered my Lariat on 11/24 and still waiting for a VIN. Latest from dealership (and confirmed by Chad on FordService) is hopefully I may see a VIN this Thursday. Trading in a Honda Ridgeline for a loaded Lariat and having a hard time waiting for it!

Yes my truck ordered 12/23 doesn't even show in Ford's tracking system yet. Seems auto workers need a couple weeks off for Christmas. How nice. Does COTUSB.COM work for anyone? Chad thinks I should send him a message every time I want to check on my order. I was under the impression Ford had online customer tracking. Not a great start Ford.
