My sales guy said that there is no such thing as a DORA anymore. But he gave me a copy of the vehicle order confirmation with my order number, dealer code, etc.

In other news, my sales guy just called me and said that my truck is being built today, and is expected to be delivered Monday or Tuesday. That shipping time seems crazy short, but hey I'm not going to complain!

Well, my Sales Manager gave me my D.O.R.A 2 days after I ordered 7 weeks ago. The D.O.R.A was also in the sales folder today when I picked up my truck and signed on the dotted line.

Is there no longer a way to track our truck orders online?

I ordered Dec 23 and haven't received a VIN or production date.

I don't really wanna ask "Chad" every time I'm checking on my truck. What should expect?

I've been following this forum since ordering my truck back in late October, once I had gotten the VIN I would call Fords customer service for any updates for my order like once a week, then I started calling daily the last few weeks, which to me become almost comical, every time I called for a estimated delivery I got a different person with a different delivery date. Chad, if you are reading these frustrations, you should bring these concerns up so future buyers won't be moaning!

Chad just says move along..nothing to see here. Polite fellow/bot, but I'd rather just be able to check progress myself.

Couldn't disagree more. Chad has been very timely in providing updates on my order. Perhaps it's the fact that I don't email him daily for updates. Once a week is sufficient to see if the order is on track.

Not sure what the hell people expect of him.

I expect Ford's Customer Tracking site to be functional. If not, take ot off the internet and give us something else we can log into and use. My truck was ordered 3 weeks ago and I have nothing. I'd like to check on it whenever I feel like it.

How about telling me where my truck is that was built in November.
This is the kind of response I get.

"I'm not sure about this one. I've seen a few recently get stuck while awaiting shipment, but this one hasn't quite moved into that status yet. I recommend giving your dealership a call to see if they have any information that I don't have.

Chad"
Really calling the dealership.Again I think Chad is a nice guy....but come on someone at Ford should know about my truck.
