Line up timing mark by hand at 0, make sure pointing at cyl 1 and not 180 off. Pull it out and slide new distributor in, its really that easy. Just leave wires on cap and move out of the way as first step.

Edit New distr 95 and pickup is 30. I did not have proper tools to disassemble the distributor and had to just put the new one in.

Step 1: remove distributor.
Step 2: chip gear horribly trying to remove it from the shaft.
Step 3: buy the whole distributor and stab it in.

Yea, My truck throws code p0385 every 200 ish miles. Truck runs fine, starts fine, sometimes a weak start, but starts easily, and sometimes has a slightly rough idle. And wouldn't you know it, I can't find my volt meter lol.
