Sway bars
Im doing a resto on my 87 f150 and it has front and rear sway bars. I want to take them off because i see no point in them at all. My dads 94 f150 doesnt have them and didnt come with them from the factory and when i drive it i dont notice any difference when i go to drive my 95 that has both sway bars also. So will it affect anything if i take them off because if it doesnt do much there coming off

You'll be fine without them until you need to swerve at a moment's notice going 40+ mph...I kept mine. If you plan on driving the truck on any public roads I would advise you keep them for your own and everyone else's safety. If a lift is in the works you can get lowering brackets that will keep the angles close to stock.
Of course you can't tell the difference, if you drive normal. It's in emergency situations that you will notice. A hard turn to avoid hitting somebody, and over you go. Keep them, they're for safety.
I would keep them. If they served absolutely no purpose, Ford would have never put them on. I'm in the opposite boat, I have a 94' that DOESN'T have them and I want them. The problem is the front ones require the original lower spring cups that have the mounting tabs on them. Even for after market bars, they use the factory mounting tabs on the lower spring cups (the ones I've found anyway).

No sway bars on mine either. But I did install some helper springs in the rear and it certainly did stiffen up the suspension and reduced the body roll.
