I have ran a 15.1 through the 1/4 before and my 0-60 is around 6 seconds.

depends how good his automatic is lol. im leaning towards him winning since he has a little bigger engine then you. but you have more control over the power transfer.

i have to agree with you. my truck supposedly can do a 1/4 in little over 17 seconds, idk the 0-60 but then again, his is a tad lighter and a manual. i doubt that will drop the time by 2 seconds though. iv never been big in the drag racing thing though so i may be completely wrong.

I have put 3.08 gears in it and I thot it was really sketchy but since I did that I top out it 2nd gear around 65 mph.

When I also ran it through I put an old set of slicks on it so I would get a good launch.

I have done a timing bump to the motor and taken all of the emissions stuff off except for one cat.

Sorry to say but chances are that chev will beat you. The 5.7 vortec in those trucks made great power! If you had a 5.8 you may have a chance.
