your truck has about 210HP stock, his has 260HP stock, plus more torque. plus lower gearing most likley (Most chev's have 3.73)

Had a few Chevys in the past, but have Fords now. Ohh, and a Japan Sedan (Nissan).

I kept within a pickup lenght or a length and a half of an 85 chevy half ton with a mildly built 454 with a four inch lift and 33s with my 95 f150 with a stock 302 and a slushy first gear automatic. I had 33s and 3.55 and he had 3.73. It was fun!

if i had a slushy 1st gear, the last thing i'd be doing is drag racing

I raced him and I was ahead about a car length until I got too about 90 and then my truck fell on its face and he kept going and passed me.
