I do 200-230° for a time frame of 10-15 minutes then attempt to seal/disassemble.

ALWAYS remember that LOWER temps for longer times are better than higher temps for shorter times.

Let them warm up, I'd do 220° for 12-13 minutes then use a tow strap or clamps to compress them - I use clamps and my hands to reseal.

So preheat the oven and then put them in or set the temperature to 200-230 and put in right away and take out after 10-15 min? Then the same for resealing them.

Preheat it - and yes. Same process for resealing.

So just to clarify it will not damage the projector, correct?

The projector had to go in the oven to go back together once already.

Dude, its already been in there once, as long as you're doing low-n-slow you'll be just fine.

NP.

Just take your time. Do it right, do it once. Don't try to rush the heat because the last thing you want is "spider webs" in the lenses.

If the interior of the housing and shroud is painted, will the heat from the oven cause the paint to melt?
