Did some maintenance today too. Put some air in the tires, dropped the spare to check its pressure, cleaned all 3 MAF/MAP sensors, changed the cabin air filter, cleaned the interior, used the leaf blower to blow out the bed and double checked that the fluid level in the diff was correct as who knows if things "settled" since I've driven it a few miles!

 

Just upgraded the high beam bulbs to 9011 bulbs. Should be brighter and better for night driving

 

Well AFE was out of stock and didn't notify Oriellys that they were out of stock. Showed up and they were like yeah we don't have it. So they reordered it to see if they got some more in stock now.

 

Topped off the truck. Broke 800 mile estimate for the first time!

 

Wow! I’ve never seen >650 with my 36 gal tank. I’m averaging 20 on the highway and 16 in town.

 

Well I'm mostly stock on the exterior. Only upgrades on the outside that would affect mileage would be mud flaps, bug deflector, window vents and tonneau cover. I'm also doing everything I can to get that mileage. No speeding, hard accelerations and no idling. Also running midgrade though that may do very little to nothing MPG wise.

 

Well I've pretty much decided that next month I'll be putting new tires on the truck and possibly new shocks. At my last oil change they said I'm going to be needing new brakes soon. Depending everything I may be changing those our here very soon once I finish working 7 days/70hrs a week and go back to 40.

 

Finally able to really test out the H9 and high beam upgrade since I'm drivng to and from work in the dark. Wish I would have heard of this mod sooner!

 

 

Trucks getting dropped off Friday night. Getting spark plugs and brakes done and shocks looked at Saturday morning. Just rolled over 135k and believe the plugs and shocks are original.
