Got this idea from @2017bluetruck Insulated my CAC today with some pipe insulation from Autozone. According to the precision calibrated Butt Dyno it seems to be a little torque-ier when up to operating temp compared to before

Not as good of a job as his and I didn't take it out as I was worried that I wouldn't get it back on. No way for me to tell how much colder the IATs are though...

Also removed the foam off the engine cover. I don't mind the look of it when it's on so it's a little bit of a compromise. Hopefully it keeps the engine cooler

Have some free time today so I'm thinking about doing the H11 to H9 bulb swap!

Completed it. Menards had them for $10 a bulb so much better than the $30 per a bulb for the H11s!
Going to have to wait for dark to see what they are like

What’s the advantage of this swap? Menards is conveniently only a minute from my work.

I saw that @artsr2002 did this. It increases the output of your low beams. All you do is remove a nub on the light bulb and cut a little off of one of the tabs and it will plug into the socket and twist right in. You can also upgrade your high beams and fog lights doing the same thing but different bulbs.

Cut down a tree in the backyard and did some log splitting. Loving the extra space in the bed to load stuff up. Couldn't fit nearly as much in a Tacoma!

Took the truck on its first "road trip" today. Did over 200 miles round trip. Love the fuel economy! These are numbers I could only dream of with the Tacoma! Forgot to reset the trip going to our destination but topped off with cheaper gas across the state border and made sure to reset it. Best was 24.5 which is the best I've ever gotten.
