Took the lower grille shutters off today. Still have to drive it to see if it makes a difference on a hot day like today...

If the removal reacts like my 2017 2.7 it will not be noticeable. And I keep all the logs from testing and use IAT2 for comparison as that temp is in the manifold just before the valves and has already been thru the turbos and CAC. I simply bent mine enough to pop out of the sockets. I reside in WI so live with wide temp change. No effect in winter or summer, so my thinking is they were more a fuel economy boost for corporate total economy. Again if MPG was important my use showed no meaningful change.I still have the shutters just never put them back in after 5 years. KM

I actually felt a change. Didn't record IATs with my scanner to prove it changed anything.
