Here is my initial review. Nothing has changed, the cover works exactly as advertised. No issues whatsoever.

Thanks! Where are you at in GA? I'm in Loganville, if you're nearby I'd love to see yours in person if possible...

I'm in Columbus/Ft. Benning. I think the closest I get to your area is when I drive through Atlanta on my way to Nashville. But, I don't know when my next trip up there is going to be, probably not for a while. If you are going to be down here, just PM me and I'm sure I can make time to meet up. Also, if more pics would help that's no problem as soon as the rain stops here.

The Peragon looks impressive. However, watching the video of it folding and I noticed that close to the cab the fold goes down. It looks as though if you have something in the bed, the fold would jam into it. Is that true?

With my 2012 FX4 due 1/23, I'm looking for a cover.

Good question!

The majority of the covers we sell now are for trucks with the 5.5' bed length - where cargo space is at a premium. Other retractable truck bed covers roll up into a fixed canister that is always hanging down using up precious room. We compete well against those designs.

I had a 2004 F150 Lariat with the 5.5' bed and a 2007 Lincoln Mark LT with the 5.5' bed. On many family trips I loaded that extra short bed all the way from the front wall to the tailgate. Every time I did that, I was thankful I didn't have a canister consuming bed space when I needed every cubic inch. True, I couldn't open the cover with the bed fully loaded, but I'd rather have the space when I need it than be stuck working around a canister when loading suitcases, coolers and gear. With a little advance thought, I enjoyed full use of my bed. I simply put the items I needed easy access to by the tailgate. Items I knew I wouldn't need until we arrived at our destination were put toward the front.

When you're just putting a few items in the bed, an expandable cargo bar can help manage cargo to keep open the area where our cover retracts. They are relatively inexpensive and having one in your truck bed comes in handy for other uses too.

If you have any other questions, please let me know - I'll be happy to help.

Thanks for your thoughtful answer. I like the look and "feel" of the cover. I may wait to get my truck to see if it would be a concern. The Ford bed is pretty deep, so it may no be. Thanks for the response.

estimated 12 days to delivery, and I'm definitely counting...

Peragon for the Win!!! I am pleased with the Product, the delivery, the courtesy call I received the day it was delivered, etc etc. The price is great and installation was easy. It fits well, works well, what more could I ask for?

Now only time will tell how it will hold up in the Chicago winters.

Thank you Peragon for offering another American made product to be proud of. It's the first thing I tell people when they ask about the cover. Made in America!!!!

I just installed my second cover on my new 2012 and I am even more impressed with this one than the first one. The install took about one and a half hours with one helper. Maybe because I had done a previous installation, but this install was very easy and looks great. On my previous truck I would sometimes get some leakage around the top of the tailgate because I had went just a little too far forward with the cover frame. This time I paid particular attention to the placement, insuring that the cover covered the lip of the tailgate. A trip to the car wash to hand rinse the truck and with spraying all over and around the cover it remained as dry as a chip inside. You for sure want to add the tailgate seal kit as this keeps out the blow back dust. For those concerned about giving up some space in the front of the bed with the cover in the open position, just pull one latch and take the entire cover out very easily. My opinion is that this is the best cover at any price.

Now, that's the kind of endorsement that keeps us fired up. Thank you!
