Like I said earlier, the mount would have to be re-enforced but I don't see why it wouldn't be able too. It has the same thickness steel that I used on the race car and is welded all the way around. The race car mounts went through a lot more stress than these will ever go through. The constant compression and rebound from getting on and off the gas in the corners and going from 100 mph to 50 mph around every turn throws a lot more g-forces on the shock mount than these mounts will ever get. I think it should work just fine. I already have a lift spindle on my truck so there is plenty of room length wise for a coil spring to fit in there. I measured it today and I think I am either going to go with a 12" x 650# spring or a 14" x 600# spring. Also, thanks for asking questions Triton-SAS because when you ask questions it makes me think and actually go check and make sure things will work and keeps me from missing anything crucial before I attempt this. So if anybody else has any concerns or questions before I do this, please ask so I can make sure I have all my bases covered before I do anything.

There will never be a true bolt on kit for mid or long travel on these trucks, everything in the front end has to be cut out and re-welded. The geometry capabilities of the torsion bar front end just isnt there

X2 if this is possible, relatively cheap and I can get safe lift without wearing out my front end like a T-bar crank I'd be all for it

Ya a true bolt on kit would Proly never exist or it would beyond cheap the kit on the power block is awesome but 5400 just in the arms along minus shocks new cvs etc. Just doesn't seem like anything for a daily driver. Wheel stick out is also bad 4 inches a side on a street truck. Would get pulled over lol. So hope it works out mine is a straight axle now that was bout the cheapest route to go over even an ifs lift which your still Stuck with torsion bars.

They didn't think ahead is all I'm saying they thought everyone that bought these trucks were only going to work them which is stupid.
The doors are different only between the supercrew and the other 2 cabs because the truck had to be completely redesigned to fit the the bigger cab, but thats completely off topic....

You can take these trucks offroad just not fast desert racing like the raptors.
Ford didnt make an offroad specific truck like the raptor for the 97-03,when they built the truck they had to make it for a wide range of people from daily driving to hauling, if you want an offroad capable truck you can get an fx4, but there still no desert runner...

I don't think my truck rides like a 1 ton but that's because I'm used to riding in SuperDutys with solid front axles under them. I don't expect my truck to ride like a caddy. Dodge softened their suspensions up on their trucks now and they squat like a dog taking a crap. Our trucks can take a load decently so why complain.

Our trucks take a load just as good as a chevy and a chevy rides better! I know its a truck why does every one think that just because its a truck it has to ride like complete ***? I've spent half my life in a 3/4 ton cummins and my truck with the bars cranked rides just like that. which is plain stupid.

I know but I'm saying if they'd made it all soft it would suck and not work as great. They just used what was the popular set up at the time and it does the job for daily driving and mild off roading. As for holes in the fenders that's just a minor issue. They didn't want you debadging their trucks. And the super crew doors are interchangeable with expeditions.
