Correct, the updated torque spec is 28-32 ft/lbs.

That what I was thinking. I thought that was just for the 4.6 and 5.4. I'll look it up and see.

Didn't realize it's a 4.2. It's 11-14 then so 10 should be just fine

Way off base, where did you pick that line of bull ? Heard from who ?

The modular heads can withstand 100 foot lbs of torque, - over and over again without damaging the plug chambers. No plug can take that much torque, - the heads can. The problem was and still is too little torque.

OP doesn't have a modular engine, so, yea, none of this applies lol.

Question how hard is it to change the rear end on a 2wd. I found a complete rear end barkes and all for under 140. It has the limited slip. Mine don't right now. It's the 3.55 I've got the tools and time but just wondering how hard of a job it would be. Any tips?? Also is it worth it?

It's not hard at all. Just a good morning worth of wok. Be sure to get new U-bolts and torque them back down after a hundred miles. Make sure that LS is in working order and change out that fluid and add some MC friction modifier.
