Well went and did it. All this talk bout how bad plasti-dip is and so on I decided to redo my hood permanent with flat black paint. Had to redo my scoop as well. Got in a rush the first time and used window calking (laugh here) lol. So I strips the caulking the the plasti dip and went to town lol. Used fiberglass bondo lots of sanding and got all taped off ready for paint. But now to cold lol so gotta wait couple days. Here's a pic as it sits right now with tape lol. Sanded hood down and rough up paint and such as well. I'll be using first filler primer and then the black matte finish paint. Will post pic when I do get it done. Hopefully by Friday.

Well got it all painted up. Looks good if I do t say so myself. Lol. But now it's on the stands. Replacing the upper and lower ball joints the tie rod ends inner and outer and the rotors and brakes pads plus the end links all with moog. Then off to get aligned morrow.

Plus painting rims as well.

 

Truck all new front suspension parts all moog and lined up and did painted the wheels.

Couple pics of the truck now. Found white door handles at pull a part and put them on. Looks good I think. Sort of a shaved look.

 

 

Well it's been awhile since here. Going to be getting some new tires and was wondering if anyone else has the Mickey Thompson Baja stz's. Just wondering how good a tire are they. I'll be driving in snow and wet roads. No real off roading just the regular pavement pounder. I've found em for 131 a tire. 265/75/16. Thanks for any info.
