How do I tell if my horn switch is bad or the horns themselves. I push the horn and get a a slight beep and done. To explian it better It sounds like a telegraph message morse code lol. Thanks for help.

 

Any help?? Just trying to figure our if I gotta tear steering wheel apart to get to horn switch or if the horns themselves are bad. How do u tell if the switch is bad or the horn itself.

 

Grab some ear plugs, and run a hot wire to the horns you can quickly disconnect. If it stays active for more than it was when you pushed the horn on the steering wheel, then I'm guessing its the switch. If not, then the horns.

This is with the added two inch spacers in now. Just a very slight rake. Maybe an 1/2 inch to inch. Figure will even out when put weight in bed for winter lol.

Just a few lil things I did. Tint corners add two inch spacers to lift front up. Done for now till extra money starts flowing in again LOLOL.

 

Lol. I finally got a recall in mail for my gas tank straps. Lol. I called before and said I wasn't up for recall now I am. Kinda funny. Texas truck no rust and goin in for recall of rusty tank straps. My straps look new. Well a lil reinforcement never hurt. Lol.

 

Ok just a quick question. What is a good tire pressure to run in snow. I've got bout 50 psi in tries now. Running 265/75/16. 2wd.

 

What's a good psi to run in winter with 265/75/16 tires in a 2wd.

 

NEED SOME HELP!! Ok i can't think what it is but today when I was turning hard left half circle I kept hearing a pop pop pop like sound from front end. Is it a ball joint or tie rod. I don't have time today to loom under front to see. Was hoping someone may be able to help steer me in right direction. Thanks in advance for help.

 

Most likely a tie rod. Jack the truck up and place a hand on each side of the tire and try to wiggle it and if it wiggles watch where the play is. This week tell you if it's a tie rod. Then put one hand on the top and one in the bottom of the tire and do the same. This is for diagnosing the ball joints.
