Haven't done much to truck here lately. Got moved back to ohio and all. Now winter here so everything is on hold. But did find me a slidin rear window an trim for it for $30. Got my tow hooks the lower 4x4 valance with fogs still there with tow hook holes also. Got my visor for top of cab also a sunroof. Still thinking if I wanna put that in or not. Working on getting and amp and new head unit. I already got the subs. Plus getting antenna for cb a friend gave me. So when the weather does get nice I am goin be busy lol. Also got my front level spacers to do also. That's an update for now. Lol.

Been thinking of getting a tuner for my truck. The question is. Would it even be worth it for me. I have a 4.2L engine reg cab longbed 265/75/16 tires . Only thing I've done is put a si/do exhaust an the gotts mod with K&N filter. Where I live now I don't tow anything I really don't have anywhere to go off road so all side streets and highway driving. I do haul occasionally. Would I get any kind of noticeable HP increase. Would it be beneficial for me in anyway. Gas savings anything. Just was something I was thinking about and wondering. Don't wanna spends hundreds of dollars on something that wouldn't be worth it for me.

Your gonna gain ur shift points back and a slight notice of power. That is if you can even find a tuner for our trucks. I've been looking for a tuner to fit the 4.2 v6 for forever.
I have 305/70/16s and I need it bad.

I think the person on here that sells the sct tuner I think it's called sells one for trucks BUT you gotta have a custom tune made for it. Also thanks for the info.

What year 4.2 do you have? I can check to see if a preloaded tune from a sct sf3 3015 will work for it, it does on some but not all 4.2 years. Course it would work with a custom tune as well. Let me know and ill check for ya and can tell you about what power gains can expect and whatnot

The Sct sf3 3015 does have preloaded tunes for the 02 4.2, an 87, 91 and 93 octane tunes for gains of 11-14 rwhp and 17-20 feet of torque on a stock 4.2. Hit me up with any questions, glad to help!

HELP PLZ if ya can. Question. What is the stock height of the rear of a reg cab long bed truck lets. I keep thinking mine is higher than most. Not sure if there has been and add a leaf or not. How would I tell. How many leaves are there stock. Any help or other pics if a stock reg cab longbed would be appreciated. Thanks.
