I never got around to putting up the 57" in the garage this summer. I put it up on the shelf for now. Too damn cold for me to stay out there very long.... guess I could fire up the heater.

The cold never use to stop me in the good old days... a speed bag and wood burner would take the edge off.

Why not fire that little heater in the corner. To much effort involved lol.

I finally kicked on the heater in the garage.

Of course, I had to take it apart and clean the thermocouple.

But working good now.

I couldn't get the top on the Vette up, but after 6 hours at 85° it finally stretched enough to latch it.

Brew,... I'll eventually get to the heater.... All I gotta do is turn on the power, and it's ready to go. Maybe blow out the dust (it has no filter).

Does your garage heater have a blower motor, Phil?

yes, a small one in the top that blows out the slots.
It has a 3-way switch: off, on. and thermo controlled, so, it only runs when it is operating.

If I remember correctly the fan was an accessory I added, but was made for the unit.

I did x-rays before I saw the doc today. He said it's osteoarthritis, and I'm bone on bone. Funny, because he basically told me how I was feeling before I told him just by the x-rays. I did some strength and mobility tests. I scored a 5 out of 5 on every strength test, and averaged 3 for mobility. My left shoulder is absolutely smoked inside though. He told me "you feel grinding in there, right?".

Anyway, he suggested that we try steroid shots, and try to ease it up every few months. Shoulder replacements apparently only last about 20 years, so he thought it would be better if I hold off unless the pain becomes unbearable.

Cortisone is loaded in, and it was quite painless. He's very good at it.

Glad you got it checked out, White. Be careful with that cortisone, though. The doc I went to for my PRP had some real reservations about that as an ongoing treatment.

I read that it could cost 2500 per shoulder. That scared me out of it. 5000 would get a guy another Fox Body to work on... (and make my shoulders even worse in the process) LOL
