Interstate is the only battery I've seen last 9 years, and still hold 14.4v 700cca at 7 yrs before it started to drop. I misdiagnosed a bad starter as a bad battery and traded in a 6 year old Interstate on my truck. Big mistake, but it was too late to get it back from the core pile by the time I realized my mistake, and the Everstart or whatever the F this O'Really trash is I have now... it's 3 yrs old and some days it's at 11.8v on a cold morning.

Driving, the alternator shows 14.4v and floats around 13.9-14.4v, but when the key is off it drops to 12.3v-11.8v.

They can last. I replaced the battery in my ATV last year. Had a 2008 date stamp on it.

The one in the Mustang is older than 2006 (came in the car), but that's kept on a battery tender almost all the time it's not being driven.

Pictures seem to be reappearing randomly. Brew: I see your screenshot. White: I don't see your alignment info. Weird.

That's a sad happening. We won't be doing anything that extreme, I'm sure, and the plane just went through it's annual.
